Workshop Supply List

These strategies are crucial for painting in any media. Though it will be taught in watercolor, other colored media are welcome, but they need to be odorless to make the class work for all participants.

BRING YOUR FAVORITE ART SUPPLIES. Watercolor, colored pencils, oil pastels or regular pastels (no fixative, though), acrylics and 10 small sheets (8 x 10) of the appropriate paper. If you are using watercolors, 2 sheets should be Arches, if possible.

***SPECIAL SUPPLIES***
___your favorite colored media, watercolor, colored pencils, oil pastels or regular pastels (no fixative, though), acrylics
___1 or 2 old paintings that we can experiment on
___2 or 3 simple items that mean a lot to you to paint, such as a favorite mug, hobby supply or cooking tools
___glue stick
___scissors
___art magazines to cut up and extras to share
___the tools and supplies that go with your media
___appropriate paper for your media (10 sheets about 8 x 10 inches)


GENERAL PACKING LIST IF YOU ARE USING WATERCOLOR:
___hair dryer
___palette (fill before class and let dry over night)
___brushes
___board to hold paper, clear packing tape to hold paper
___paper (sketch paper and Arches watercolor paper)
___pencils
___erasers
___water container
___paper towels
